1) Check that the standby cooling pump is in good condition. Before starting, slightly open the outlet valve and start the standby pump. Check that the current and pressure are normal. Slowly open the outlet valve and check that it operates normally.

2) Slowly close the outlet valve of the original running pump, pay attention to the changes in stator cooling water pressure and flow, check that everything is normal for the newly started stator cooling pump, and that the stator cooling water pressure and flow are normal.

3) Stop the original running pump and open its outlet valve slightly larger than the opening of the running pump outlet valve after the rotor is stationary. Check that the pump does not reverse.

4) Interlock the shutdown pump and put it into standby mode.
