The AST solenoid valve is energized, and the slide valve overcomes the spring tension to close the pressure free return port. The pressure inside the slide valve chamber rises, and the slide valve overcomes the spring tension to close the AST oil drain hole. The AST emergency trip oil pressure is established. When the AST solenoid valve is powered off, the solenoid valve core moves upward under the action of spring tension, opening the high-pressure oil discharge channel. The pressure inside the valve core cavity decreases, which is not enough to overcome the spring tension. The piston moves left under the action of spring tension, opening the AST oil discharge channel, and the AST emergency trip oil loses pressure.
