The OPC system usually consists of overspeed sensors, controllers, oil cut-off valves, speed limiting valves, relays, etc. Among them, the overspeed sensor is a key component for monitoring the speed of the steam turbine, the controller is the brain of the overspeed protection system, the cut-off valve and speed limit valve are key components for controlling the fuel and load of the steam turbine, and the relay is a backup control component for the protection system.
