The excitation system is an important component of synchronous generators, which is a set of systems that supply excitation power to synchronous generators.

 

 

The excitation regulator controls the output of the excitation power unit based on input signals and given regulation criteria, and is an important component of the entire excitation system. The main task of the excitation regulator is to detect and synthesize information about the operating status of the system to generate corresponding control signals. After amplification, it controls the excitation power unit to obtain the required generator excitation current.
