The size of the tested gear is determined by the modulus (m), which is the parameter value that determines the gear size. Suggest using gear discs with a modulus ≥ 2 and a tooth width greater than 4 millimeters; The preferred material for detecting gears is ferromagnetic materials (i.e. materials that can be attracted by magnets).
