The DET250A hydraulic servo-motor travel sensor provided for the power plant is a high-quality LVDT, belonging to medium-range linear product. The electrical output signal of the DET250A displacement sensor is the differential AC voltage between the two secondary windings, which varies with the axial position of the iron core in the LVDT coil. Generally, the AC output voltage is converted into a more convenient high level DC voltage or current by means of an appropriate electronic circuit.
