operational principle

The structure of HL-3-100-15 Hydraulic motor stroke LVDT Linear Position Sensor consists of a coil component and an iron core. During installation, the coil assembly is fixed on the bracket, and the iron core is fixed on the object at the measured position. The coil assembly consists of three coils of steel wire wrapped around a hollow shape, forming a cylindrical shape that allows the iron core to slide freely.

The sensor casing is sealed with stainless steel, and the inner coil is a primary coil, which is excited by an AC power source. The magnetic flux generated by the primary coil is coupled to two secondary coils, and an AC voltage is generated in each coil.
