The Steam turbine LVDT Position Sensor HL-6-250-15 is a commonly used sensor in power plants. The function of this sensor is to measure the displacement of the hydraulic servomotor, and it can also measure the displacement of valves such as the main steam valve and high pressure regulating valve of the steam turbine.

The sensor casing is sealed with stainless steel, and the inner coil is a primary coil, which is excited by an AC power source. The magnetic flux generated by the primary coil is coupled to two secondary coils, and an AC voltage is generated in each coil.

 

Detection method for sensor damage

Sensors HL-6-250-15 can be detected for damage in two ways. One is insulation measurement, using an insulation resistance meter or universal meter, and the other is coil resistance measurement, measuring the resistance between coils.
