Mechanical seal CZ50-250C is a rotating shaft sealing device mainly used in fixed water pumps to seal the rotating shaft from external media such as air, water, oil, corrosive gases, etc. to prevent leakage and pollution.
1. Preparation before installation: Before installing the mechanical seal, it is necessary to check whether the parameters such as shaft size, bearing clearance, verticality and roughness of the shaft end face meet the requirements. At the same time, it is necessary to clean the oil stains and oxide layer on the shaft, and check the matching between the shaft and the mechanical seal.
2. Installation position: Mechanical seals are usually installed in the shaft seal, isolated from the pressure chamber of the pump. During installation, attention should be paid to aligning the mechanical seal with the pump's axis to ensure the normal operation and sealing performance of the mechanical seal
3. Lubrication before installation: Before installing the mechanical seal, a layer of lubricant should be applied to the contact surface and sealing gasket of the mechanical seal to reduce the operating temperature and wear of the mechanical seal,
4. Installation methods for mechanical seals: There are usually two installation methods: gland type and clamp type. The gland type is to install the mechanical seal in the shaft seal chamber, and then use bolts to press the seal. The clamp type is to cover the two half rings of the mechanical seal on the shaft, and then use clamps to press it tightly.
5. Post installation debugging: After the installation of the mechanical seal is completed, debugging and trial operation are required to check the sealing performance and operation of the mechanical seal. During the trial operation, the pressure, flow rate, speed and other parameters should be adjusted according to the equipment requirements and the usage requirements of the mechanical seal to ensure the normal operation and safety performance of the mechanical seal.
