Power plant turbine small turbine refers to the small turbine used in conjunction with the boiler feedwater pump. It is possible to use two steam driven feedwater pumps with 100% output and one electric feedwater pump with 100% output. The electric feedwater pump can be used during unit startup and fault conditions. When the unit is operating normally, the steam driven feedwater pump can be used, one for use and one for backup.
