The SV13-12V-C-0-00 plug-in solenoid valve plays a crucial role in overspeed protection in the steam turbine system. When the unit experiences load rejection or overspeed, a 3-second pulse signal is sent to the solenoid valve through the DEH (digital electro-hydraulic control system) to open the solenoid valve, thereby releasing the OPC (main steam safety valve) oil circuit and quickly closing the control valve. This can effectively prevent the turbine from continuing to operate at excessive speed and avoid accidents.

 

There are two OPC solenoid valves in the system, achieving dual protection. Once one of the solenoid valves fails, the other solenoid valve can be immediately activated to ensure the normal operation of the overspeed protection function and avoid safety hazards to the unit due to the failure of a single solenoid valve.

 

The safety requirements for equipment in the power system are very high, especially for critical equipment such as steam turbines.
