Oil-water alarm OWK-2 is the key equipment to monitor whether the generator leaks oil in the hydrogen cooled generator unit. Its function is to detect whether there is oil in the cooling hydrogen inside the generator and give an alarm in time to remind the operator to take necessary measures.

 

In the hydrogen cooled generator set, hydrogen is used as the cooling medium of the generator, with high heat conductivity and low viscosity, which can effectively cool the generator. However, if the sealing system inside the generator has leakage or other faults, the cooling hydrogen may mix with the lubricating oil inside the generator to form mixed gas.

 

The oil-water alarm OWK-2 determines whether the generator has oil leakage by monitoring the oil concentration in hydrogen. When the oil concentration exceeds the set threshold, the alarm will trigger an alarm signal to inform the operator of potential oil leakage. Timely oil leakage detection and alarm can help avoid the potential safety hazards caused by oil leakage of the generator and protect the normal operation of the generator.
