DESCRIPTION

 

The relief valve 98H is suitable for backpressure or pressure relief applications in liquid, gas, air, and steam conditions, such as power generation, heating and cooling systems, and process systems. The relief valve 98H is a direct acting spring pressure valve with a set pressure range of 15 to 200 psig/1.0 to 13.8 bar. The valve body is made of gray cast iron and is mainly used for steam injection applications in the petroleum and natural gas industries.

The relief valve 98H can not only serve as a safety valve, but also serve as a pressure regulating valve, unloading valve, back pressure valve, and balance valve.
