DESCRIPTION
The output signal of Magnetic Liquid Level Indicator UHC-AB is a true position output, rather than a proportional or signal that needs to be amplified for processing, so there is no signal drift or variation, so there is no need for regular recalibration and maintenance like other displacement sensors; It is precisely because its output signal is numerical that even if the power supply is interrupted and reconnected, there will be no problem with data reception, and there is no need to reset to zero.
Working Principle OF Magnetic Liquid Level Indicator UHC-AB
Magnetic Liquid Level Indicator UHC-AB mainly consists of a measuring rod, an electronic compartment, and a non-contact floating ball or magnetic ring (with a magnet inside) mounted on the measuring rod. The measuring rod is equipped with a magnetostrictive tube (waveguide), which is made of non magnetic stainless steel tube and reliably protects the waveguide. During operation, an initial pulse is generated by the electronic circuit inside the electronic chamber. When this initial pulse is transmitted in the waveguide, a rotating magnetic field is generated along the direction of the waveguide. When this magnetic field meets the permanent magnetic field in the magnetic ring, a magnetostrictive effect is generated, causing the waveguide to twist. This twisting is sensed by the energy pickup mechanism installed in the electronic chamber and converted into corresponding current pulses, By calculating the time difference between two pulses through an electronic circuit, the liquid level displacement can be accurately measured.
