The principle of the CS-3 Rotation Speed Sensor is based on the reluctance effect. The magnetoresistive effect refers to a physical phenomenon where the conductivity inside the magnetic circuit changes when the magnetic flux passes through it, resulting in a change in resistance.
In the turbine reluctance speed sensor, a reluctance element is installed on the rotor. When the rotor rotates, the magnetic flux will pass through the reluctance element, resulting in a change in resistance. This resistance change can be detected and used to calculate the speed.
