The WJ40F1.6P bellows globe valve (welded) is mainly distributed on the main pipeline of the cooling water system, with a sealing surface of polytetrafluoroethylene. The main material of the valve body and cover is cast 304, and the corrugated pipe material is stainless steel, suitable for hydrogen and various gases. The WJ series corrugated pipe globe valve seal is composed of large PTFE gasket, small PTFE gasket, O-ring, etc., ensuring sealing performance.

Hydrogen has a small specific gravity, high specific heat, high thermal conductivity, and relatively stable chemical properties. It is usually the medium used to cool the rotor of the generator. However, the hydrogen in the generator should be monitored and regularly maintained at connected nodes to prevent external leakage. Therefore, the WJ series corrugated pipe globe valve is selected to ensure the safe operation of the unit.

 

Precautions for use of WJ40F1.6P bellows globe valve (welded)

High temperature valves above 200 ℃ are tightened again due to being installed at room temperature. However, after normal use, the temperature increases, causing the bolts to expand and the gap to increase. Therefore, it is called "hot tightening". Operators should pay attention to this work, otherwise leakage may occur.

When the weather is cold and the water valve is closed for a long time, the accumulated water behind the valve should be drained. After the steam valve stops, the condensate should also be discharged. The bottom of the valve is like a plug, which can be opened for drainage.

When using a new shut-off valve, do not press the packing too tightly to ensure no leakage, in order to avoid excessive pressure on the valve stem, accelerated wear, and difficult opening and closing.
