 The OPC solenoid valve is mainly composed of a primary valve and a secondary valve. The part with a coil is a primary valve. The OPC solenoid valve closes when it is not energized, and opens when it is energized; the AST solenoid valve is closed when it is energized, and opens when it is not.

 

OPC solenoid valve is an overspeed protection control solenoid valve. During normal operation, the OPC solenoid valve is de-energized and closed, which closes the relief channel of the OPC overspeed main pipe safety oil, so that the oil pressure under the piston of the actuator of the high and medium pressure regulating valve is established. When the unit speed reaches 103% of the rated speed (3090rpm), the OPC solenoid valve is energized to open, so that the OPC solenoid valve is activated, draining the oil from the main pipe, and the unloading valve on the corresponding actuator is opened quickly, so that the high and middle regulating steam valves are quickly closed.
