DESCRIPTION

 

AXIAL DISPLACEMENT PROBE PR6424/010-140+CON21 is used for non-contact measurement of static and dynamic displacement. It can be used in explosion-proof environments and is widely used in steam turbine monitoring and protection systems MMS 3000 and MMS 6000.

 

Working principle OF AXIAL DISPLACEMENT PROBE PR6424/010-140+CON21

 

The turbine sensor and the preamplifier form an oscillator, and the amplitude of the attenuation is proportional to the distance between the sensor and the metal object being measured as the sensor probe approaches and decays. The sensor and preamplifier have been linearly calibrated using calibration material 42CrMo4 before leaving the factory, so there is no need for further calibration during installation. The user only needs to adjust the air gap between the sensor and the measuring surface until the desired signal is obtained from the output of the front sensor.
