DESCRIPTION
High Temperature Sealant COPALTITE LIQUID 5 Oz./1 QUART in the United States is mainly used for replacing tight tolerance thin gaskets in threaded and other mechanical connections. This sealant is particularly effective in the temperature range of 150 ¡æ to 815 ¡æ. For example, after heating the area to be sealed at 150 ¡æ for 15 minutes, COPALTITE can be cured into a heat resistant and chemical resistant sealant with good resistance to vibration, Thermal shock and chemicals. Can form a permanent seal and can be removed if necessary.
Usage Method OF Fiberglass Tape 0.15*25
1. Clean the surface with solvent and dry. Apply a thin layer on the two contact surfaces that need to be sealed, and the thin coating effect is good.
2. Copaltite needs to be heated and cured. If the bonding area needs to withstand high pressure at high temperatures, it should be heated without pressure until a seal is formed. Heating temperatures above 300 ¨H (148 ¡æ) take about 15 minutes, and can last up to 4 hours at lower temperatures.
3. When it is necessary to reseal, use a wire brush and alcohol to remove the hardened Copaltite before repainting.
