DESCRIPTION
Generator Sealant D20-66 is also known as hydrogen sealing filler for generators. Sealant is mainly used for hydrogen sealing at the steam and excitation ends of the end caps of high capacity hydrogen cooled steam turbine generators in steel mills or thermal power plants, as well as for hydrogen sealing of generator outlet bushings. In addition, this material can also be used to seal the end caps of aircraft engines, heaters, railway and truck air brake pneumatic valves.
Notes OF Generator Sealant D20-66
1. Clean the sealing groove inside the end cover and check that the gap between the horizontal and vertical split surfaces of the end cover meets the requirements of the regulations. Before use, the surface of the tube should be dry and clean, and then easily diffused. As a filler, it serves as a bond between regular fillers and metal surfaces, and diluents should not be used.
2. When there is a gasket, apply it to the surface of the joint and spread evenly. When there is no gasket, apply it to the surface of the joint and embed small threads or similar adhesive lines.
3. Slowly inject Generator Sealant D20-66 into the sealing groove using a glue gun from the injection hole on the horizontal joint surface. Wait for adjacent holes to flow out and indicate that they are fully filled, and then inject them in sequence until they are fully filled.
