The speed measuring probes of the DEH system use 3 MP988 speed probes . There are 3 speed measuring probes installed on the machine head leading to the DEH system. One signal from each probe is sent to the BUG card as a backup overspeed signal, and the other two signals are sent to two speed measuring cards respectively. From the point of view of the entire speed measurement circuit, the possible reasons that can cause a sudden change in the speed are:

 

1) There is alternating magnetic field interference on site, and there is interference from large electrical equipment near the speed probe.

2) There is line interference in the speed signal transmission line due to damage, grounding, etc.

3) The measuring probe itself fails due to friction or high ambient temperature, which leads to a sudden change in speed.

4) A single channel failure of the speed measuring card causes a sudden change in the speed.
