The RC861CZ096ZSSYM high-pressure oil circuit differential pressure switch for steam turbines is used to monitor the pressure difference across the EH oil or high-pressure lubricating oil filter. It has excellent actuation point accuracy, reset error and long-term stability. It can promptly alarm when the filter element is truly clogged, and can also effectively filter system pressure pulsations to prevent false alarms, so that maintenance personnel will not have to deal with false alarms every day.
 
The actuation point is precisely controlled, with an error of less than ±1%. It is precisely calibrated before leaving the factory according to user requirements. For example, if the user needs an alarm when the differential pressure reaches 0.3MPa, the switch will operate within the range of 0.3MPa ± 0.003MPa, preventing early or late alarms. This high precision ensures that an alarm signal is only issued when the filter element becomes clogged to the point of affecting oil circuit safety, reminding maintenance personnel to replace the filter element.
 
The reset differential is designed very reasonably, with a reset differential of less than 0.05MPa. This means that when the filter element is replaced, the switch will automatically reset and clear the alarm when the differential pressure drops to 0.25MPa. The small reset differential can avoid frequent switch operation and reduce unnecessary alarm occurrences.
 
To prevent false alarms caused by system pressure pulsations, the switch incorporates a damping device that effectively filters high-frequency pressure pulsation signals. The pressure in the EH oil or high-pressure lubrication circuit may experience slight pulsations due to the operation of the oil pump; the damping device filters out these pulsations, allowing only genuine pressure difference changes to trigger the switch. Even with pressure pulsations reaching 0.05 MPa, the switch will not malfunction, demonstrating exceptional stability.
 
The switch also boasts outstanding long-term stability, employing a corrosion-resistant stainless steel diaphragm. The diaphragm's performance does not degrade due to prolonged contact with high-pressure oil, with an actuation point drift of less than ±0.5% per year, eliminating the need for frequent calibration. With this differential pressure switch, maintenance personnel can accurately assess filter blockage, ensuring that genuine faults are not overlooked while avoiding being disturbed by false alarms.
