The 3000TDZ-B linear displacement sensor for turbine valve positions is designed for outdoor or harsh environments. The sensor body is well-protected, and the tie rod is designed to be corrosion- and dustproof. The exposed tie rod is also protected against mechanical impacts, ensuring stable operation even in dusty or vibrating environments.

 

The sensor body has an IP67 protection rating, with a thickened stainless steel housing and a powder-coated anti-corrosion finish, resisting rain, dust, and corrosive gases. The junction box features a double-sealed structure with fluororubber sealing rings, preventing moisture from entering and causing circuit malfunctions even in environments with humidity levels as high as 95%.

 

The exposed long pull rod is a key area for protection. Made of 316L stainless steel, it boasts strong corrosion resistance and will not rust even when exposed to humid and dusty environments for extended periods. The rod's surface is polished, making it smooth and flat, preventing dust from easily adhering. Even if a small amount of dust is present, it will be carried away by the hydraulic motor without affecting the rod's extension and retraction.

 

To prevent mechanical impact, the pull rod is covered with a stainless steel corrugated sleeve. The sleeve extends and retracts with the pull rod, neither restricting its movement nor damaging it from tools or pipes on site. The sleeve's ends are sealed to prevent dust from entering, further protecting the pull rod.

 

The sensor mounting bracket has also been reinforced to withstand the strong vibrations of the steam turbine, preventing sensor displacement or damage due to vibration. With this comprehensive protective measure, the sensor's service life can reach more than 5 years in harsh environments, eliminating the need for frequent replacements.
