The WZP-001D screw-on end-face thermal resistance, through structural adaptation and material optimization, ensures a tight fit between the temperature measuring tip and surfaces of equipment such as motor bearings and pump casings, enabling fast and accurate surface temperature measurement.
The WZP-001D's temperature measuring tip features a flat surface with a precision-polished end face, maximizing contact area with the equipment surface and minimizing air gaps. Air gaps can create thermal resistance, leading to temperature measurement lag or error. The flat end face allows for direct contact with the equipment surface, improving heat transfer efficiency. Furthermore, the temperature measuring tip features an integrated threaded screw that screws directly into the equipment's pre-set threaded hole. The tightening force of the screw secures the tip to the equipment surface, preventing loosening due to vibration and ensuring long-term contact stability.
The material selection further enhances temperature measurement performance: The temperature measuring end is constructed of high-thermal conductivity stainless steel, which conducts heat quickly and responds quickly to changes in the equipment's surface temperature, eliminating the measurement delays associated with traditional RTDs due to their slow thermal conductivity. The temperature sensing element is closely attached to the inner wall of the temperature measuring end, minimizing the heat conduction path and ensuring real-time sensing of the temperature at the measuring end, improving measurement accuracy. Furthermore, the WZP-001D RTD's leads are constructed of heat-resistant insulating material, suitable for the medium- and high-temperature environments of motor bearings and pump casings, preventing lead insulation aging from affecting signal transmission. These design features enable the RTD to accurately capture changes in equipment surface temperature, promptly detecting issues such as motor bearing overheating and abnormal pump casing temperatures, and providing reliable temperature data for equipment maintenance.
