Corrosion Mechanism: EH oil with elevated acidity contains free acids, which chemically react with the valve seat metal to form soluble salts and release hydrogen, leading to localized corrosion and material spalling.

 

Exacerbated Erosion: Corrosion products form suspended particles in the EH oil. High-speed flow impacts the valve seat sealing surface, exacerbating mechanical erosion and causing pitting or cracks on the sealing surface.

 

Seal Failure: Erosion damage disrupts the sealing fit between the solenoid valve seat JZPK001 and the valve core, causing leakage or delayed operation, impacting the rapid closing performance of the AST system and threatening the safe operation of the turbine.

 

Systemic Chain Reaction: An elevated EH oil acidity can also cause changes in oil viscosity and filter clogging, further exacerbating the vicious cycle of valve seat damage.

 

Preventive measures include regularly monitoring the acid value and moisture content of EH oil and replacing substandard oil in a timely manner; adding corrosion-resistant coatings to valve seat materials; and optimizing the EH oil regeneration system to remove acidic substances and particulate contaminants.
