The axial proximity sensor ZH30780-90-00 is based on the principle of eddy current effect. It detects the axial position change of metal targets in a non-contact manner and is widely used in displacement monitoring of rotating machinery. Its core is to use the interaction between high-frequency alternating electromagnetic fields and metal conductors to achieve high-precision measurement of the dynamic position of the target.

 

When the proximity sensor ZH30780-90-00 probe approaches the metal target, the high-frequency oscillation circuit inside the probe generates an alternating magnetic field, which induces eddy currents on the surface of the target. The intensity of the eddy current is nonlinearly related to the distance between the probe and the target, and is dynamically adjusted with the change of axial displacement. The reverse magnetic field generated by the eddy current on the surface of the target will change the impedance characteristics of the probe coil. The preamplifier detects the change in coil impedance and converts it into a voltage or current signal output corresponding to the axial distance. This non-contact measurement method avoids mechanical wear, is resistant to oil and high temperature, and is suitable for complex working conditions.

 

The ZH30780-90-00 proximity sensor probe is encapsulated in a Φ11mm stainless steel shell with a built-in high-frequency coil and protective layer to ensure stable operation in vibration or high temperature environments. The extension cable works with the preamplifier to optimize signal accuracy through linear compensation and filtering circuits. The proximity sensor can sensitively capture the target's axial micro-displacement by adjusting the excitation frequency and magnetic field distribution, and suppress radial interference to achieve unidirectional positioning.

 

In practical applications, the ZH30780-90-00 proximity sensor is often used for axial displacement monitoring of equipment such as turbines and compressors. By fixing the probe to the bearing box or casing and aligning it with the end face of the rotating shaft, the axial movement of the shaft system can be fed back in real time.
