It is mainly used to accurately measure the displacement of each steam inlet valve of the turbine, and provide accurate valve position feedback signals for DEH (digital electro-hydraulic control system), so as to achieve precise control of the steam inlet of the turbine and ensure the stable operation and load regulation of the turbine.
Working principle
LVDT position sensor HL-6-50-15 consists of a primary coil, two secondary coils and a movable iron core. When AC current passes through the primary coil, an induced voltage is generated in the secondary coil. The iron core is connected to the connecting rod of the turbine valve, and the displacement of the valve drives the iron core to move in the two secondary coils. Since the position change of the iron core will change the distribution of the magnetic field, it will affect the induced voltage in the two secondary coils. The two secondary coils are connected in series, and their output voltage is the difference between the voltages of the two. This differential voltage is linearly related to the displacement of the iron core. By detecting the voltage change, the position change of the valve can be accurately known.
Performance characteristics
1. High-precision measurement: It can accurately measure tiny displacement changes, provide reliable data support for the precise control of the turbine valve, and meet the requirements of the turbine for precise regulation of the steam inlet.
2. High linearity: There is a good linear relationship between the output signal and the core displacement, which can achieve a nearly ideal linear output, making it easy for the control system to accurately judge and control the valve position.
3. Good anti-interference ability: It adopts the principle of electromagnetic induction. Compared with other types of sensors, it has stronger resistance to external interference such as electromagnetic interference, dust, oil, etc., and can work stably in a complex turbine working environment.
4. Non-contact measurement: There is no direct contact between the core and the coil, which reduces mechanical wear, so it has a longer service life and lower maintenance costs.
5. Wide measurement range: It can measure displacement within a certain range. The specific measurement range of HL-6-50-15 depends on its model specifications, and generally meets the displacement measurement requirements of the turbine valve.
Application in steam turbines
-Valve position control: connected to the steam inlet regulating valve connecting rod of the steam turbine, monitors the opening position of the regulating valve in real time, and converts the displacement signal into an electrical signal to feed back to the DEH system. The DEH system compares and calculates the actual valve position feedback signal according to the set load requirements, and then controls the opening of the regulating valve, accurately adjusts the amount of steam entering the steam turbine, and realizes the control of the turbine speed and load.
-Valve position display: The position information of the regulating valve is transmitted to the operator screen in the control room in the form of an electrical signal, so that the operator can intuitively understand the real-time status of the regulating valve, which is convenient for monitoring and operating the operation of the steam turbine.
