The installation clearance control of the turbine speed sensor ZS-04-75-3600 is crucial, which directly affects the quality of the measurement signal and the service life of the sensor. A precise clearance needs to be maintained between the sensor probe and the end face of the gear (or keyway) being measured. If the clearance is too large, the sensor output signal will be weak, or even unable to detect the speed signal; if the clearance is too small, the probe may collide with the gear, damaging the sensor or the gear. Therefore, the correct installation clearance is the prerequisite for ensuring accurate and reliable speed measurement.
 
The installation clearance of the speed sensor ZS-04-75-3600 is usually between 0.5mm and 2.5mm. The specific value should refer to the technical specification provided by the sensor manufacturer. When adjusting the clearance, first gently touch the sensor probe to the top of the gear being measured, and then slowly increase the clearance by adjusting the mounting nut or bracket of the sensor, and use a feeler gauge or a special clearance measurement tool for precise measurement. Ensure that the clearance is uniform throughout the entire gear rotation. For shafts with keyways, ensure that the clearance meets the requirements when measured at the top of the key and the bottom of the keyway.
 
After installation, the output signal of the ZS-04-75-3600 sensor must be verified. Before starting the turbine, the rotor can be slowly rotated manually while observing the output signal of the sensor using an oscilloscope. The signal should be a clear square wave or sine wave with expected amplitude and frequency. During turbine operation, the sensor installation gap should be checked regularly for changes, especially after large vibrations or temperature changes. If the gap is found to be out of the allowable range, it should be adjusted in time to ensure the long-term accuracy and reliability of the speed measurement.
