Date:2025/2/6 9:18:39 Visits: Author:Dongfang YOYIK Engineering Co; Ltd,The Eddy current signal converter CON021 is a high-precision eddy current sensor, usually used in conjunction with the PR6423 series preamplifier, for critical turbomachinery applications such as steam turbines, gas turbines, turbines, compressors, gearboxes, pumps and fans. It can accurately measure the dynamic radial and axial displacement, position, eccentricity and speed of the shaft to ensure reliable machinery monitoring and control.
The Eddy current signal converter CON021 measures displacement by detecting the eddy current effect on the metal surface. When the sensor probe is close to the metal surface, the high-frequency electromagnetic field in the probe induces eddy currents on the metal surface. These eddy currents change the electromagnetic properties of the probe, which are detected by the sensor and converted into electrical signals. The CON021 module processes these signals and extracts vibration characteristics such as amplitude and frequency for fault diagnosis and alarm.
